Ok, so think back to your first year of Radio Communications in college... It seems like so long ago, and by now  your probably a PD of a station, or working a very important day part as well as another big role in a station... Surely much more demanding then your first year in college...

Well let me just say, that with my first year coming to an end, there is SOOO much to be done! I am pulling out my hair trying to make sure I meet about 6 deadlines at the same time, while doing on air shifts and newscasts...

I will NOT complain however, because I know this is what will get me ready for the real world...in the mean time, I will just have to buy a wig to cover the lack of hair.

Ditto what Brad said.  As soon as you get into your third semester you'll be wondering why you had such a hard time in first semester, especially with regard to newscasts.  And then when the essay rears its head you'll be wondering why you had such a hard time with current affairs in second semester, etc. etc. It's just a big cycle.

I remember it well because it was only a couple of years ago. The sad news is that not much changes as your career goes on.

If it helps at all, it will seem like a breeze in hindsight. It always does.
